Halloween brings out the best in those who don’t normally put any effort into their regular job, yet muster Leonardo DaVinci-levels of ingenuity for something as silly and frivolous as say, a fully animatronic Halo Elite costume. Enter petermander1, a man hell bent on creating this years most elaborate video game themed costume. Using microchips, joysticks, photographic references and some sort of Metallicaish soundtrack, he is chronicling – what I can only assume – will be a Halo fan’s wet dream. Although far from finished, his progress is quite impressive and I look forward to making fun of seeing the final result.
A note to petemander1 when making future videos. You don’t need to tell us you’ll be “back in one second.” Unless you plan on suddenly ending your video, leaving your viewers in a state of Lost-like suspense. Also, music from Halo would have been a tad bit more appropriate. Or perhaps I’m just being nit-picky? More Elite costume after the jump.
