We just got word from Sony that Playstation (and PC) gamers will finally be able to experience Grand Theft Auto IV’s additional episodes. Previously exclusive to the Xbox 360, both The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony will be released on March 30 as either individually released DLC or a retail CD. The retail copy (dubbed Episodes from Liberty City) will set you back $39.99, or you can snag either episode off PSN or Games For Windows Live for $19.99 each. Still not convinced? You may recall my love for a certain trailer last year. Full press release from Sony after the break.

FOSTER City, Calif., January 29, 2010 – Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. 1. I love the idea of these episodes but, honestly, do they have to charge so much for them? I would be twice as likely to buy it if it were half as much.

  2. These aren’t mini missions. They’re about 6-8 hour games EACH. So you’re getting a decent amount of content for said price. Trust me. This is no expansion pack.
