Mass Effect 2 trailer teases trailer – video game hype officially goes bananas

Above is a 90-second teaser for a new “full-length” Mass Effect 2 trailer that will hit Xbox Live on March 22nd. Yes, that’s right, its a teaser for a teaser. This is what the world has come to. Incidentally, full length trailers are generally around 2 to 2 1/2 minutes in duration, meaning, you’ve already seen more than half of next tuesday’s trailer. One could ask, Why not just release the full trailer now? Or just this. Or perhaps just wait till March 22nd and put out the full thing?

Luckily I love Mass Effect enough to let this slide – even if it is an awfully silly move. Enjoy.
