MLG announced the final stop of 2009 Pro Circuit will take place in Orlando Florida January 8 – 10. The Pro Circuit will feature the crowning of the 2009 National Champion for Halo 3 and Gears of War 2. Other competitions include the invitation-only World of Warcraft, Call of Duty 4, and Rainbow Six: Las Vegast 2. On the side, there will be the EA Sports Challenge where PS3 competitors can compete in Madden 10, NBA Live 10, and Fight Night Round 4. Over the course of the weekend more then $380 000 will be awarded.

If you and you’re friends think you’ve got what it takes, you can sign up for the open qualifiers for Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 before October 12th. If you’re a casual gamer you can spectate or stream the event live. Myself being in the e-sport industry, I can tell you the stakes for this event are very high and the pressure will be on the professional teams to win. Don’t miss out on the biggest e-sport event of 2009 (Which is oddly enough in 2010).
