No Halo Waypoint for Canada in the new Live Beta.

Halo Waypoint, the new Microsoft dashboard portal that provides media, statistical information, and Halo news won’t be appearing on the dashboards of Canadians in the beta program, right now.  More after the waypoint…

Today, Major Nelson announced via tweet that:

“If you are in the Preview Program, you should see Halo Waypoint in the Dashboard. Note: It is available in English regions only for now.”

That’s when Canadian’s participating in the live preview started scratching their heads.  It wasn’t showing up on the dashboard, which was strange because as far as they knew they lived in an English speaking nation.  Go figure.  Then Nelson followed up with yet another tweet:

“I should add it’s in most English speaking regions right now. For example, It’s not available in Canada at this time.”

As of press time Bad Cartridge hasn’t heard from Major Nelson as to why Canadians can’t access Waypoint, and if Waypoint will be omitted in the Canadian dashboard update, when it goes live later this year.
