Red Alert & Rock Band Coming To iPhone.

Big games are coming to a tiny system. iPhone is receiving mobile versions of both Rock Band and Red Alert, joining titles such as The Sims 3, Spore, and Fifa 10, in making the leap from home consoles to the Jesus Phone.

Rock Band features 20 songs, local bluetooth multiplayer, all four instruments from the main game (sans plastic controller), in App (DLC) purchases for more songs, and more. Gameplay is similar to Tap Tap Revenge’s beat matching interface. This is used for all parts, including vocals. The game has already been submitted to the App Store, so hopefully we’ll be seeing it next week sometime. I’m betting $7.99. Check below for the track list.

Crush Soviet empires, or take over the world on your iPhone? Yes please. Red Alert for the iPhone is a stripped down prequel to the original PC game, sporting 3D Red Alert 3 style graphics as opposed to sprites of the original. Stripped down may sound like a negative, but it sounds quite appropriate for the mobile device. 12 levels are in the game, featuring both story based campaign and skirmish mode. Sadly, no multiplayer. Red Alert should arrive sometime this month.
