Skate 3 rumours confirmed; release May 2010!

Be ready to rip it up with Skate 3 next May. Seems like EA is raising the bar again, allowing you to team up with friends in the all-new city of Port Carverton. After creating a crew with your friends, you can rip up the team-based challenges that advance all your careers. More after the jump!

If you have an excess of cash right now, pre-order Skate 3 and you’ll “get an unlock code that gives them exclusive access to the iconic Black Box Distribution Skate Park, home turf of Zero, Mystery, and Fallen skate teams.” For the rest of us, there will be well-known crews such as the Barrier Kult in the main game!

They’ve also opened up “a beefed up Hall of Meat” to allow players new and old to learn the sausage links… er, ropes, of Skate 3. From basic moves to creating graphics, videos, and skate parks; it sounds like there is as much freedom as Woodstock 1969… Except less drugs and hippies.
