Good news everyone, The Bible is coming to the Xbox. No really. THE FUCKING BIBLE IS COMING TO THE XBOX. Why you ask? Most likely to make up for regular acts of violence, racism and all-around debauchery that’s made the system so popular. If there is a console hell, the Xbox just got themselves out of it.

Dubbed Bible Navigator X – again, not kidding – the title promises to “bring the Bible into people’s living rooms and onto their televisions in a completely new and innovative way”. Which Bible you ask? Well the complete Holman Christian Standard Bible – of course. Features will include – well, the bible, a bookmarking system, and ten themes to customize your bible with (Here’s hoping for a Modern Warfare 2 theme!). The price will be 400 Microsoft points – but can you really put a price on salvation?

Interestingly, the press release mentions that Bible Navigator X is “thought to be the first complete Bible available on a video game console” – meaning there may be others out there – that we need to kill immediately! Look out for Bible Navigator X this December on the Xbox 360 Indie Games channel.
