I never did get to play Perfect Dark back on the Nintendo 64. I tried to, however, without the 64’s 4MB memory expansion pack the game would only offer a watered down-version of the multiplayer. The good news is that next month I’ll finally get to see what one guy in high school wouldn’t shut up about. Rare has lovingly upgraded the game without completely diluting its retro charm. Except to drop 800 Microsoft Points on this baby at some point next month.
